I have a rich and diverse background, with my roots tracing back to Fiji through my immigrant parents. Growing up in a large, vibrant household with four sisters and one brother, quite an experience, shaped me into the person I am today. The practice of Hinduism and the annual three-day prayers in Surry BC are essential parts of our cultural heritage, connecting us to our roots and traditions
My upbringing in a predominantly white neighborhood in North Burnaby provided me with a unique perspective on the world, helping me understand the differences and challenges faced by my family. Witnessing my parents’ struggles as I navigate the racial attacks at school from teachers and students, made me tough, but it also bestowed upon me a resilient spirit and a thick skin.
My journey of growth and success includes graduating from Cariboo Hill Secondary School in 1993 and obtaining a Finance and Real Estate Certificate from the University of British Columbia in 2004.
As a proud husband, father, and owner of a gorgeous red husky, my life is filled with love, family, and cherished companionship.
My experiences, challenges, and triumphs has shaped me into a person with a strong sense of purpose and a passion for making the world a better place.
